Larry Gilbert of Lexington, Ky., parlayed a putting lesson from his wife, Brenda, into a record third-round 7-under-par 65 to win his second straight PGA Club Professional Championship. Despite a final-round 74, which tied a record for high final round of a winner, Gilbert finished one shot in front of Steve Benson of Long Grove, Ill., who finished runner-up for the second time.
