Bruce Fleisher, a 41-year-old head professional from North Miami Beach, Fla., closed with a final round par-72 for an 11-under-par 277 to defeat Jeff Thomsen of Boise, Idaho, by three strokes. For Fleisher, who played on the PGA Tour for 12 years before returning home to Miami in 1983, it was his first appearance in The PGA Club Professional Championship.
