Coming from behind in the final round, Sam Snead reclaimed the title he had surrendered to Julius Boros a year earlier, by one shot. Down at the 13th tee by three, after a double-bogey at No.12, Snead side-saddled a 25-footer for a birdie on No.14.He finished with four pars, as Boros suffered bogeys on Nos. 13 and 14.Boros finished with a bogey on No.18, giving Snead his fifth PGA Seniors' Championship. Boros and Tommy Bolt, each with 75 in the final round, tied for second.
