The PGA McGladrey Team Championship

The PGA McGladrey Team Championship returned to Pinehurst (N.C.) Resort in 2008 and featured a 164-player field representing 41 PGA Sections. Stonebridge Ranch Country Club of McKinney, Texas, representing the Northern Texas PGA Section, finished with a 10-under-par 134 to capture the second annual PGA McGladrey Team Championship.

Stonebridge Ranch was led by PGA head professional Joseph Menton who was competing in his first national championship. Massena Golf and Country Club, representing the Northeastern New York PGA Section and Northern California's Windsor Golf Club, the 2007 runner-up, finished second and third respectively.

Open to golfers of all ages and playing abilities, the Championship is building traditions as the premier amateur event in the United States.
